I was not accepted for the Our Town show that I have routinely been in for the few past years in Birmingham, MI. I like the paintings I selected. I did a few small quick paintings this spring when I was very busy with other things - non-art related. Sometimes life takes precedence over art. I'm not taking it personally since the juror must put together a show of best work and taste takes over - another juror may have felt differently. This show has a large amount of entries and the goal is to sell for the Community House as a benefit - a huge responsibility for the juror. I've including one of the declined paintings.
